Hey all... the following is a compilation of what the CIs have to say! (if Janice says this stuff all the time, we all also sian lah hor =P) We love the club a lot.

"Hello all the people in TJ Guitar Symphony! This'll be touching so get tissue paper hehe.

You know, yesterday we had our last holiday SYF practice. Personally, I felt rather discouraged myself at what Mr Liauw said on Tuesday. On Wednesday the session with you guys was.. Well different from the rest. I could feel the words lingering in the air, the playing wasn't as bouncy and jumpy as it was supposed to be.

What can we say? Music is all about expressing one's feelings and emotions. Play happy when you feel happy, play sad music when you feel sad. It's like how you choose words, if you're happy you choose happy words. If you're not, the words that come out will similarly be of a different quality. I couldn't feel the uplifting music, instead I felt the music drag me down. At the end of practice I felt really drained.

But hey guys, this is my word to all of you. Never forget the bond we have, the music we made, the friendship we all share. Remember that through thick and thin we have each other! Don't worry about the standard of music, just enjoy it and it'll naturally turn out well! So guys look not at the standard, look to enjoy the process. (: Just remember how the first three pracs went, I'm sure they were enjoyable and fun!

Please stay cool okay guys! Hang in there there's not much more left to feel shitty about WHEEE we can do it!

"Hola!

You know, after our Guitar Club concert this year, a few people told me that they thought we(the junior ensemble) were better than the senior ensemble who had one more year ahead us to be as good as they are. Considering that many of us picked up the guitar for the first time, i know we have what it takes to be GREAT. Music is a natural part of everyone. Don't be discouraged that we're not at the standard we want to be right now! Hui Xian thinks we're doing good with the amount of time we've had so far. Practice hard, feel the music, relax in it, listen to what you're playing closely instead of playing blindly, take note of all the fine details. We're in this together and we're gonna help and pull through this just like we have done before (:

Jia you for the upcoming practices...Dont be discouraged by what mr Liao said.. cause..we can CREATE MIRICLES BY WORKING HARD!~!!! YAY!!even if we are just 2% ready.. we can be 100% ready if we work hard hard loh.. hee =)

"It's not easy to learn a full ensemble piece, given 2 weeks and we did it in 4 days! Don't worry we still have 4 more months to prac hard and reach the gold with honours standard, stay positive everyone! Jiayou!
