Hey guys! =D

Just to clarify what I said yesterday... Mr Liauw said we were good for having only prac-ed for 4 days, but we were NOT good for an ensemble trying to attain at least a Gold Award next year for SYF.. So it's both a compliment and a cause to worry. =P

I know SYF prac has been crazy for all of us... First of all, Plink Plank Plonk is the first full ensemble piece we've done on our own since our seniors left (remember the crazy mini-ensembles we did for the Guitar Festival? =P). Secondly, it's the most intensive practice we've ever had... we've clocked approximately 40 hours of practice in just 2 weeks, which is waaaay more than we've ever done, even for Aurora X! =P

I'm really glad that we all pulled through and came out well from it... All the finger blisters, wrist-aches, butt aches etc. aside, this holiday's practice has really been an achievement for us. =D YAYYY! *Cue: applause!*

As Ahmad said, this is just "telecast from the President"... but I really mean what I'm trying to say.. >_< We've definitely done very well this time around... but we still need to work a lot harder. =( We may not be as talented as our 2005 SYF seniors, but I'm very certain we'll be able to make up for it with diligence and hard work! =D Woohoo!

SO PRAC HARD, EVERYONE! =D Treat your guitar like your boyfriend (or girlfriend)! Shower it with love and it will return your affection! The more you love your guitar, the more cooperative it'll be when you play it. ;)

Also, huuuuge thanks going out to the Guitar Symphony guys for always helping the girls do saikang! (eg carrying our stands, footstools, chairs..heheh. =P) We may always be bullying you guys, but you know deep down that we love you! =P

Also thanks to Kent for taking precious personal time out to coach us! Jie Kai for helping us conduct (and finding the two missing Prime 2 notes for us!!!). And Xin Ying for popping down and giving us encouragement. =D

LOVE, Janice.

Updated SYF Sections! =D
TREAT YOUR GUITAR LIKE YOUR BOYFRIEND! =D (Eugene says, "Or girlfriend!") Please take note of the changes in the sections k? Those marked with (*).... =P Next year, we may be able to get some juniors to join us for SYF as well, so the sections aren't entirely confirmed yet-- but the people already in the sections are fixed. =D Prac hard!
